Former Aussie opener Matthew Hayden is a devout Christian by birth. The purpose is the same, the curiosity to know deeply about Islam. The former Australian cricketer is currently working as a batting consultant for the Pakistan national team. Hayden's devout student, Pakistan national team wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, presented Guru with a copy of the English version of "Al-Quran". Hayden reads the Qur'an regularly, seeing Pakistani cricketers' devotion to their religion, out of curiosity about the religion. In an exclusive interview with News Corp, a well-known Australian media outlet, Hayden spoke about the religiosity of Pakistani cricketers and the Holy Quran, a gift from Mohammad Rizwan. Hayden told News Corp:

We sat on the floor with Mohammad Rizwan and talked about the Qur'an for about half an hour. It was a beautiful moment. Despite being a Christian, I am curious to know about Islam by seeing the piety of Pakistani cricketers. One follows Christ and the other follows Muhammad (s) and in a sense, they can never be reconciled. But Rizwan gave me an English version of the Quran. I read little by little every day and learned a lot about their religion. Rizi (Mohammad Rizwan) is one of my favorite people and besides being a sports champion he is a good man.

Hayden told the News Corps that he was impressed by the Pakistani cricketers' five daily prayers, observance of religious observances, and humility: "I was amazed at their behavior and humility from the outset. Originated. As a Westerner, you cannot appreciate the effects of those promises and beliefs. Even performing their prayers - five separate prayer sessions a day. Which has always fascinated me. They are very sincere and caring towards their religion.
