Reflect on your thought.

received this email from my mentor Rapheal and I would love to share it with you just this one time...

Email starts here--------

So this morning…

I was thinking of some people who have access to solutions that can help others in this country but they choose not to share it.

This email is based on that thought...

If you have helpful knowledge that can help a lot of people solve a serious problem in their lives and you are not packaging it and selling it to them, I believe you are a bad person.

Let me explain.

Let's say you have a tested and highly effective solution that helps people to completely get rid of glaucoma (a serious eye problem)

Right now, a crazy high number of people are struggling with this problem.

And they are spending huge amounts of money that is giving little or no results.

Let's see what you can do.

OPTION 1: Refuse to Share Your Knowledge:

Just that if you refuse to share your knowledge, many of these people will go blind and live a really tough life simply because you refused to share what you know.

OPTION 2: Share Your Knowledge For Free:

Maybe you decided to share your knowledge but you refused to monetize it.

This is what will happen.

First, many of these people who are probably spending as much as N300k a year on treatments won't believe your solution because it is free.

Then some will believe you. They will even collect the solution but won't try it because most of the time, people place little value on things they got free.

Then at some point, some will try it and use it.

And when they see it works, they will be happy and tell others who will also come to you for help.

Then at some point, you will become frustrated because you won't have enough time and resources to help these people again (remember, you are not making money from it)

And in order to distribute your solution to a lot of people, you need various tools which are not free.

Then you need to employ people to work with you who won’t do it for free.

So, you will eventually have to focus more on other things that will help you make money to live and to fund this little passion of yours.

Sure, you will get a lot of thank you and God bless you but that is all.

The end result is that a lot of people still won’t hear about your solution or use it.

The only way this could work is if you have a philanthropist who is supporting your cause by giving you all the money you need to share your solution.

But the probability of this happening is the same as Bob Risky getting pregnant.

OPTION 3: Share Your Useful & Tested Knowledge In Exchange For a Little Money:

Here, you decide to share your tested knowledge for a little amount of money. Maybe like N20,000.

For people who are spending about N300k a year on not so effective solutions, that price will be a big deal.

As a result, you will make enough money that you can use to set up systems and advertise the solution to reach a high number of people.

Also, you wouldn't mind paying more attention to this because you will have a lot of money to settle your day to day bills as well.

At the end of the day, everyone wins.

The people who bought your knowledge will be happy because they are able to get their vision back.

And you will be happy for 2 things:

  1. You made a lot of money.

  2. But more importantly, you were able to help a lot of people smile again.

And this wouldn't have happened if you didn't share the information or if you had focused on only sharing it for free.

I hope you got the message.

Talk later.
