🌅 Farewell Dubrovnik! My last day in this stunning city was quite an adventure. The day before departure, I rushed to the port with a fellow hostel guest. With COVID restrictions tightening and neighboring countries closing their borders, we needed a ticket out. I managed to secure one to Italy for just 55 Euros.
On my final day, we enjoyed a refreshing swim in a picturesque bay. I had to fill out some paperwork to enter the Schengen Area, but it was all worth it. As evening approached, we hurried back to the hostel to pack and then made a quick stop at a charming vegetarian restaurant en route to the port.
When we reached the port, not everyone was allowed on the ship due to border restrictions. Luckily, since I arrived by sea, I still had my valid ticket, and I boarded the ship without a hitch. The overnight journey was peaceful, and I woke up to a breathtaking sunrise over the sea. Before long, we arrived in Bari, Italy. 🚢🌞🇭🇷🇮🇹 #AdventureTime #TravelDiaries #SunriseOverTheSea
