Good morning people of steem skillshare, I'm new to this community and I saw that this community focuses on the Sharing of knowledge and skills, knowing this I decided to join here is my achievement 1 link is at the comment section. Today I'll teach you all the the different types of ram and their uses and I hope you all will learn something from it.
RAM is an acronym for Random Access Memory and it's a hardware storage used for storing temporary files on the storage. Any information stored on the RAM will be erased when the computer is switched off. The RAM is also called a temporary memory or volatile memory of a computer device.
There are two types of RAM in a computer device;
- Static RAM

SRAM is an acronym for Static random access memory and it's a type of ram where the data is stored in a six transitor memory cell. Static ram are commonly used as cache memory for the Central Processing Unit (CPU).
- Dynamic RAM

DRAM is an acronym for dynamic random access memory. In this type of ram, it stores little Data in two separate capacitor in a Integrated Circuit (IC). DRAM is mostly built in modern computers. p
