21 Million STEEM is Going to Hit the Market? Will STEEM be zero?

I saw a strange thing in Steemit. If you’re an old steemian who was there when the Hive split happened, you may not know Justin Sun was not the owner of Steemit before 2019. But he was able to buy Steemit and there was a war between Justin Sun and old witnesses regarding handing over pre-mined tokens to the new owner. Anyway, those old witnesses and developers made a new platform called Hive and they all moved to Hive. In that time new steem witnesses initiated a hard fork to freeze 23.6 million STEEM of stakeholders who supported hive folk.

As a return community321 hijacked 23.6 million of steem in a “some kind of way”. Those Steem were transferred to the Bittrex after the hijack with the memo of “These are funds stolen by the Steem witnesses using HF23 May 20th 2020 - please return them to their original owners prior to the fork :)”

Anyway, it was an old story and now steemit is running by the Tron team and two days ago something happened here. If you know, there was a Steemit account called “ @steemit” which was created in 2016. Recently that account was fully activated and some interesting transactions happened.

From bittrex

Two days ago, bittrex suddenly sent 14 million steem to that account. Is that a part of the amount which was transferred during the hijack? That amount is more than 50% of the hijacked amount. Anyway, I am just curious about what’s happening here. Did Bittrex want to return the hijacked amount to the Steemit team?

To Binance

Another questionable point is, on the same day, That account has transferred 21 Million to the Binance exchange. Wow.. 21 million steem is a lot. Are we going to see 21 million steem on the market sell orders? I don’t know what’s happening. But I am pretty curious to know what’s going on here. Does anyone have an answer?

While smaller accounts are forced to powerup their earnings, larger accounts a are transferring millions to exchanges.

One can also check 4 years of wallet history.

interestingly, the same binance account has been used by hkdev404

Someone else can delve into that hole.

Interesting... I saw some transaction with above account with steemit account before few years ago. Seems like something is happening with steemit team

Payment to CZ for helping the steem-coup!? ;-)
Whatever, but moving to an exchange - instead of vote-mining - doesn't bode well for STEEM price. That needs to remain above about 27 cents to make the SBD "uplift" work.

Interesting to see HIVE do a little pump today!
I've always suspected there are more links between Steem and Hive than is generally admitted - some may still find that interesting.
Amusing to see Binance alone churn $5m HIVE today ;-) but just a coincidence...

Not much update about hive. But I also feel same as there is s connection between those two platforms than we see from outside.

It's a valid point. Still they didn't say anything about what they are going to do with that steem . But they have revealed those steem are funds which were in the Bittrex without the owner identification. Since no one request that money, bitrrex has send them to steemit. I saw that point in an article.

Still interesting that it went straight out to another exchange, rather than building and earning on their own platform.

Great background info. and reporting on current shenanigans

Voy a buscarte como testigo y votar por ti, me gustó tu publicación, fui steemit pero el trato y los votos son difíciles allí a lo mejor no era el mejor lugar para mí.
I'm going to look for you as a witness and vote for you, I liked your publication, I was steemit but the treatment and the votes are difficult there, maybe it was not the best place for me

Thank you for witness vote..Steemit is not good for newbies because it's always rewarded for the same people. So if you were there from begining you could also be a part of rewarded gang..But now it's difficult..But in Blurt, always there is a chance for newcomers..Here we try to support everyone equaily.

well, I don't have a group, I just focus on working, I can't be behind anyone for votes, you must understand that my votes come from my work and I earned them. I consider that the worker is worthy of his salary and therefore I would like my written work to have a compensation because it is good and has value and not because it belongs to any group

Ye..you're right..That's The why I also came to blurt...I am posting in steemit just because all my friends still there..One day when my friends come to here I may stop posting on steemit

but you have friends I always published in a community of writers but out of nowhere they closed everything and turned off the power and then making space was hard for me, I think it was more disappointment, I felt bad, here I feel better

pero tienes amigos yo publicaba siempre en una comunidad de escritores pero de la nada cerraron todo y apagaron el poder y después hacer espacio se me hizo duro, creo que fue más decepción, me sentí mal, aquí me siento mejor
