Our village
Introduction: The name of our country is Bangladesh. This is our country full of greenery. And there are villages all over this country. The green nature of the village touches the hearts of people everywhere. Such a beautiful quiet environment of the village removes all the fatigue of the people.
Location of the village: The name of our village is Harirampur. It belongs to Belaichandi Union No. 1 of Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district. The river Karatoya flows past the village. The natural beauty of the river seems to have enlightened our village. Our village is in the middle of Syedpur upazila in the north and Parbatipur upazila in the south. The Parbatipur and Syedpur highways pass by our village and the railway line passes by the eastern side. So there is no problem in traveling.
Natural beauty of the village: Our village is surrounded by greenery and captivating. There are two big shawl gardens in our village, moreover, our village is decorated with mango-blackberry, jackfruit-litchi, coconut-betel nut, shimul-palash, palm etc. plants. The village is always in the throes of Pakhpakhali. Huge crop fields full of greenery, paddy and various types of vegetables. Bill-Lake, Dighi-Daba, what a mind-blowing beauty store!
Villagers: Muslims and Hindus live in our village. There is no difference in religion between them. He follows his religion. So all the people have been living here happily and peacefully.
Rural Livelihood: Most of the people in our village are involved in agriculture. Some people learn to read and work in the city. However, that number is very low. In addition, some people make a living by working as day laborers.
Economic source of the village: Most of the people in the village depend on agriculture. Agricultural products such as rice, jute, wheat and various types of vegetables such as potatoes, patal, karla, chilli, squid, gourd, etc. According to the season, all kinds of crops are produced in our village and the people of the village save money by selling the crop. Every Sunday and Wednesday there is a market in the village. People from the city come and collect agricultural products.
