PRAYER

Prayer is the key, yes! Prayer is the master key and prayer is the only way to connect directly to God. It doesn’t matter our religion or what group we belong to neither is it how we worship God but in as much as we put our faith and believe in praying to get our needs from God then this post is for you.

We all have prayed to God concerning so many things and some are been granted while some other prayer requests look declined. Have you ever asked God for something and he didn’t get you that which you seek for? So today I want to lay some foundations on the reason why God do not answer all prayers.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOD AND MAN

In our prayer lines and prayer requests as a carnal man, we do have certain needs and expectations from God when we pray either for blessings, success, wisdom, divine protection, guidance, a daily bread, wealth, money, etc.. We all believe that whatever we ask from God through prayers will be granted which is TRUE but not all that we request are been granted to us why is it so?

God is God and he will always be God, for he alone knows the right part for us so he will not grant us quick wealth, he will not give you that quick money, God will not give to us those urgent materialistic things we desire for because he sees beyond what we can see. We look at our current situations and look for a solution while God looks and the current situations and stick to the future.

God knows the end of that money we are asking for now, the end of that Rolls Royce you want to wheel now, the end of that gigantic mansion of a building that we want to erect now and how all of these can destroy our lives in the future so he grants our prayer requests according to time and how we will benefit from it thereof and not get destroyed by it. Although our requests will be granted one day and that day is definitely the perfect timing for us because there is time for everything.

Imagine a 10 year old boy asking God for a car and God gave him a lexus, how will his community picture him? What will people plan against him?, Will his life be safe at all? And what if God decides to give you that money you didn’t work for, how will you spend it? Will you spend it rightfully considering your current situation or condition? How well can you handle money? Are you worth it? Will you please God with it? Or use your wealth to punish others?!

These are what God sees and delays some of our prayers to come at the right time butcertainly grant us the good end requests that we need and wont destroy us! The simplest answer to the question why God do not answer some of our prayer request is because,

there is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end of it is destruction. Proverbs 14 vs 12_kjv
