Every day, we hear different stories of relationships and when you listen to some aspects, you feel shocked and it is what happens in this life we are in. There are marriages where both partners do not show love to themselves, some do not even make love to themselves and hearing the number of times some engage in sexual activity, you will be amazed. This life is full of mystery because each story in a relationship is something one keeps getting afraid of and do not want to enter into. I still watched a video yesterday where a couple was being interviewed and the counsellor asked the wife how many times she makes love with her husband and she said she has never made love with him since they got married. This of course wasn´t surprising to me because I have heard cases like this many times.
God, who created man and woman never said we shouldn´t be together because we are created to flourish and replenish the earth and this can´t be done without procreation. How then do we procreate if we do not love each other and have sex?
To me, it would be disastrous, terrible and no joy in it. How do you expect me to be in a marriage with someone who doesn´t love me? At least, we would have studied each other before entering such a contract together. The only way there wouldn´t be love is when the marriage is an arranged one by both parents and this would definitely not last because marriage without love won´t bring any commitment.
Love is one of the foundations based on marriage. When there is love, marriage would be sweet, but without love, the marriage turns sour. Staying with a partner with the covenant "for better or worse" and he or she doesn´t love you, there would be chaos in the home. There won´t be any feelings from such a person to you and this definitely would bring about disaster in the home. Imagine seeing your friend whose partner is showing love in your presence, it will bring an inferiority complex, thereby making you engage in a relationship outside your marriage because you want someone to love you.
When there is no love, it makes the partner go into thinking that his or her companion is having other thoughts about him or her and this could bring problems especially psychologically. A loveless marriage will never be interesting or fun because both of you cannot enjoy yourselves.
This is the important thing in a marriage. Marriage without sex is useless and there won´t be fun. Sex is so important that it brings an intimate relationship between both couples. Sex in marriage brings happiness to both parties. When there is no sex, how do we bring up children? If there is no sex, how do we communicate? Sex is an integral part of life that no one can do without. If there is no sex, the marriage lacks the ingredient for long-lasting marriage life.
The marriage would go dry when sex isn´t available. This will make one of the parties go out in search of someone to satisfy their sexual desire and you know when this happens. it bridges the marriage and trouble are coming out. No one would ever want his or her partner to bring in a child out of wedlock. When there is the absence of sex, things like this are bound to occur, thereby resulting in separation in the end.
SO WHAT DO I PREFER?
I can never be in a marriage with these two not present there. I had rather not go into such because it will affect me in a bad way. I will not be happy in such a marriage and there is a possibility I look elsewhere. It is like being caged forever in the home. So, it is better I go for a marriage that has both love and sex. I want a partner who would love me and has so much interest in sex because I do 😎
Both ingredients are what make marriage interesting. When your partner loves you, he or she would care for you. He or she would respect your feelings and emotions and try not to tamper with them. Sex in marriage has a lot of benefits. For companionship, for procreation. Sex is an avenue for intimate relationships which brings about emotional balance and the likes.
You need to watch out for these two, especially because your marriage life would be superb when you aren´t deprived of any of these.
