Orchid flowers have very diverse types and have their own uniqueness. One type of orchid that is quite rare is the black orchid.

Orchids include plants that are difficult to breed because the seeds do not have an endosperm so they are difficult to grow in nature.

Propagated Vegetatively

This plant can grow in coconut coir, ferns, and sawdust media. However, the most suitable medium is sawdust.
This is because it resembles its natural habitat growing in this plant. Sawdust is first soaked with water for ± 24 hours to remove the sap attached to the sawdust.
Then given a solution of fungicide to avoid fungal attacks.After that, in terms of fertilization, it is given according to the age of the plant and is done 2 times a week.
Done in the morning at 06.00-07.00 or in the afternoon 16.00-18.00.B If you are using a liquid fertilizer, spray it on the underside of the leaves, stems, then roots. Choose a fertilizer for black orchids that contains nitrogen to stimulate growth.
