Walk nº15 – De la montaña
El diafragma de nuestras cámaras réflex es la que juega ese papel de selección funcionando a modo de pupila de ojo, contrayéndose o dilatándose, según interese mayor o menor detalle de lo que se quiere fotografiar.
The way to handle that depth of field is through the diaphragm. If a small focal length "f" is set, what is being caused is a large aperture and at the same time a large area in focus. If we take that larger aperture “f” what we achieve in a smaller aperture, the focus will be more precise in the points that interest us, blurring a large part of the image. The diaphragm of our SLR cameras is the one that plays that selection role, functioning as an eye pupil, contracting or dilating, depending on the interest of more or less detail of what you want to photograph.
Walk nº15 – From the mountain
The concept of depth of field should always be the first factor to take into account when taking a photograph. It has to do with the focal length and sharpness that you want to achieve when taking an image and what you want to clearly center or highlight in it.

Fantastic lesson in photography!
I do love my depth of field and enjoy how smart phones have finally gotten to the point where you can capture depth of field. Almost makes me want to get back into digital SLR but I prefer to be a hack! ;)
The smart phones without a doubt now do true wonders. I'm still from the old school, the two cameras that I have still have a long way to go. Thank you very much for your comment it makes part of my work more enjoyable. A hug. @zekepickleman
