How I met my best friend

The friends that lasts most in the opposite sex friends, although most of them leads to marriage and it's good because they knows what their friend want; they must have understand themselves very well and by getting married to each other, they won't really have problem.

My best friend is an opposite sex to me, she is a woman, a mother of two, a boy and a girl, although she's yet to get married, maybe because she didn't have her children with her best friend. We are just friends, no feelings, but we are always there for each other. Her name is Rashidat, I don't treat her like a girl, I treat her like a man because that is what she is to me, she is strong, she works all on her own in order to take care of her children and her grandparents.

We met on the first week of our resumption in school; the polytechnic Ibadan and ever since then we've been friends. We were 5 sitting on a long sit in our Class and we were all friend, the five of us started getting to know each other by visiting our different hostels, the first place we went was my best friend's place, in her house, she have all food stuffs and beverages that student need in order to have good brain while at school which some of us don't have because we were just sent to school, it wasn't easy, we were not from a wealthy family, even to pay our school fee was something else but my friend have it all.

When my friends reached my place, I don't even have a pot to cook food but we lend from a neighbor and we cooked 🍽 because that's how we do. My best friend know how poor I am and she's been good to me, I eat at her house before going to my own house and that's how we got intimate, we share things, we tell our stories, she made me meet her parents, I spent a long time holiday at her grand parent place and they've been so good to me.

In the class, while writing attendants and signing out books, we discover that we bear the same surname but we are not even from the same state, even some of our class mates thought that we are siblings because we were too close but the reason why we are close is because she likes seeing funny people around her and I am kinda funny so she love seeing me around her, even when her boyfriend visit her, she still want me around her.

The best moment I spent with her was when I visited her place in Lagos, they treated me nice, even more than my parent could do, they know I needed money and her aunty find me a part time job that fetch me money where I bought my first laptop, the most cost Android phone that time and everyday was fun then but the moment I and her can't ever forget was when she had her first child, she had to be operated and her baby father isn't around to sign at hospital so I risked my life by signing but I'm glad that it was successful because if it wasn't, I might still be in jail since 2015 till now.
