Instablurt- Me and My Fellow Filipinos in Saudi Arabia

in instablurt •  2 years ago

We beat homesickness! Lastvfew years ago, we had a party at home, noty home but in my employer's mansion. We were all welcome during my birthday. We havevsi many indifference but we were all happy on that day. We forgot grievances and hardship about our designated works. Employers are not the same. Some of my friends had no food to eat but insisted to stay for the sake of their family back home. Being an Overseas Filipino Workers is too hard to define. I am one of the luckiest who have good Samaritan employers but somebof my friends are not. On that day, we celebrated our moments of being free for just a couple of hours. I initiated our met up so we could see each other. I talked their boss and they allowed them because I am working 25 years here in Saudi Arabia and modt of them are newbies.
