Meet again with my post for the umpteenth time. My post this time wants to share information about a building where Muslims worship in the city of Depok, West Java, Indonesia, which is about the Golden Dome Mosque.
The Golden Dome Mosque or the Dian Al Mahri Mosque was formerly known as the Great Mosque of Limo. This mosque was built starting in 2001 and completed its construction in 2006. It is called the Golden Dome Mosque because the dome of this mosque is coated with gold with a thickness of 2 to 3 millimeters. The construction of this mosque was initiated by a businessman from Banten, namely Hj. Dian Djuaria Maimun Al Rashid.
The mosque, which stands on an area of 50 hectares, is one of the grandest mosques in Southeast Asia with a mosque building area of about 8,000 meters² which can accommodate approximately 20,000 worshipers.
