How I prepare my liquid soap.

Good evening everyone, how are you doing this afternoon, hope you are having a great day. I want to wish you all a happy new month.
Well today i made liquid soap and I have decided to share with you guys how I made this soap and what the result is all about.

I went to the market with my sister to get the ingredients for the soap. Getting home I decided to separate the ingredients and keep it on the ground.

< Ingredients used in making this soap.

1< Water:
Water is the main solvent needed for the process to dissolve the various ingredients. It is very essential in the production of liquid soap.

2< Nitrosol/Thickener.
This serves as a thickener in the production of liquid soap. It comes as a whitish substance and has the texture of powdered milk. Nitrosol will dissolve immediately in water, before you can start mixing the other ingredients.

3< Caustic Soda
It is a whitish crystalline substance that looks much like a sample of granulated sugar. It forms a strong base when dissolved in water and can be corrosive if in contact with the skin. It is an essential ingredient in the soap making process. This is the stain or dirt removal agent in the liquid soap.

4< Soda Ash (Sodium carbonate)
This is also a whitish substance. it serves to regulate the concentration of the Caustic Soda which ordinarily is corrosive to the skin. It helps to neutralize it.

5< SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate):
The SLS looks like rice grains and it’s whitish in color too. It is a surfactant that helps to lower the surface tension of the aqueous solution. It is the main active foaming agent.

6< Texapon
The Taxapon is a jellylike substance, it also functions as a foaming agent and serves as a foaming booster too.

7< STPP (Sodium Tripolyphosphate)
STPP is a sodium salt of triphosphoric acid. It is white in colour and has it looks like a powder. It is a strong cleaning agent too.

8< Foaming booster or foaming agent
This also comes in liquid form and has transparent look. As the name implies, it makes the liquid soap foam very well.

9< Colour:
The colour adds beauty to the finished product. So I decided to go for green color.

10< Perfume:
This gives your soap a sweet fragrance.

< How I started making the soap.

Firstly I brought out a rubber bucket, and added the amount of water I want for making this soap.

After that I started my adding the thickener into the water and I stir for almost an hour so that it can get thick.

After that I started mixing the ingredients one after the other in a sperate bowl and also adding it to the thickener.
The first one I mixed separatly was the soda Ash, after stiring for sometime I now added it into the main misture which is the thickener.

I continue mixing all the ingredients separately until i was done with all of them.

The last thing I added was the colour and perfume and that was the end of everything friends. Today was really a stressful day because it was not so easy when it comes to stiring but a friend help me and at the end it was successful.
