MONOMAD : BLACK GARDEN ANT (LASIUS NIGER) || Repost From My Blog

in instablurt •  3 years ago

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes

To take part in today's #monomad contest, I'd like to show you some Macro Photo of an Animal. The animals that I will share in this post are animals that belong to the class of insects, these insects are called ants. When I matched photos on google lens, I found a name for this ant, the name of this ant is "Black Garden Ant", or also known as "Lasius Niger".

Here I will also quote a little explanation on wikipedia about this black ant, there it is explained that:

"The black garden ant (Lasius niger), also known as the common black ant, is a formicine ant, the type species of the subgenus Lasius, which is found across Europe and in some parts of North America, South America, Asia and Australasia. . . . . ." Read More on 👉 Wikipedia

I found this ant this afternoon, while I was walking looking for some macro photo objects with Mizal-rovel, and when I was trying to shoot another insect, an ant climbed up my leg, and when it caught my attention to take a photo of him, and there other ants too, maybe family or friends of this ant who came to me.

Here below are some photos of ants that I will share with all my friends, hope you like it;

On the other hand I also saw the two ants that died together, I don't know for sure what the cause of death was,

......, and I also took the dead ant, tried to aim at its head with 10X Zoom, and it made my image quality not good, but look, the head and teeth are very clear here, even though the image is a bit noisy.

Okay guys, that's all for today, and by the way all the photos I show here were taken using a smartphone camera and the help of a macro lens. I hope you guys like it. 🤗
