Some wondered what the duck I've been up to the past couple weeks?
I've stayed at home and spent time with my own kids. I gave my wife a break and found out that cooking three meals a day is no joke. I celebrated my son's fifteenth birthday and had a blast. Although most of the days we spent inside playing chess we also had some time for creativity.
We cooked together and we played together. We also watched our neighbor's house go down and the foundation for a new house being laid.
We thought it would be nice to visit an amusement park and enjoy some winter sports. We had no idea it was going to be this cold. It's one of the coldest winters that Korea has ever experienced. I'm from Chicago that has a lot colder winter but I got spoiled by the mild winters South Korea usually has. Now I have the heat blasting and I'm dinking a hot cup of tea. I'm wearing a winter jacket and still cold. This is the part of getting old that I really don't like. When I was little I loved being in the cold and I loved amusement parks. Now I never want to see an amusement park again.
Who am I kidding? We had fun. I just don't want to get on another Viking again. My stomach is bad enough without being torn apart by a flying boat.
The park we went to is called Seoul Grand Park and is located just south of Seoul. The amusement park tickets are discounted and there were not many lines mostly because it was ten below zero. Now I'm back to work teaching in school and I kind of wish I had another week vacation.
You've probably heard this viral duck song:
Got any grapes?
Have a great weekend^^
Happy 15th birthday to your son. It's quite lovely that you got to appreciate the effort of your wife in handling the everyday meals. It really helps when both parties assist each other.
Thank you @curtwriter,
He is one of the happiest teenagers I know. I think the family is the best place to learn the value of life and help each other. My wife is awesome. You didn't miss that one.
Happy birthday to him, wish him a lot of love and he will be better life. Good day.
Thanks for the blessing @killerkuasha,
He and young people like him are the future. They need a lot of love.
Stay healthy and don't be discouraged.

Oh hey. I noticed you weren’t around much. Enjoy the family time. It’s the best.
VYBrainium is rocking. It’s great to have more platforms like Blurt.
I really like your attitude... very open
It is a Lunar New Year holiday and that is big in Korea. We will visit family probably. Covid is nuts everywhere.
