Hello welcome to my diary, a lot of students around my region turn out to support the Super Eagles Of Nigeria, the Nigeria football team.
I skipped some important things as I hurried up to take my sit at the nearest viewing center, but to my awe the viewing center is full already, I've to find a sit at the back to watch the game..
The game started, and Ghana begin dominating, not long before they found the net.
The first half was a huge disappoinment, we lost couples of possession and Ghana keeps on dominating. The first half ended
The second half begins and everyone was praying for a miracle, not long the Super Eagles were awarded a penalty and Troost-Ekong wasted no time as he converted the spot kick with ease. The score was level and Ghana are trailing on away goal.
The viewing center became uncomfortable, everyone was praying and shouting. 90th mins and some few minutes to full time,Ghana were dominating I told my friend that Nigeria can't qualify again, the hope was lost I stand up and took my leave...
I got home to check the LiveScore hoping for a miracle, then I saw the match ended with the same 1-1 result.
A very disappointing moment 🤦🤦, hopefully we can qualify for the next edition
