Today, 159 Years ago, Fire Extinguishers were Patented for the First Time

What would the world be like without fire extinguishers? Of course it will be very difficult in our daily lives.

Luckily, an expert named Alanson Crane from Virginia, USA managed to create a fire extinguisher that is practical to use, in the form of a portable tube as we know it today.

Today, February 10, 1863, or 159 years ago, Alanson Crane patented his invention.

In memory of him, I created an animated GIF for him. This is it:

I created this animated image using the Giphy App.
