Hallo liebe Community,
heute nun ein erster Erlebnisbericht von meinem zurückliegenden Urlaub an der holländischen Nordseeküste. Ich hatte das Glück auch ein paar Tage mit bewölktem Himmel und sehr angenehmen 22 Grad zu erwischen.
So machte ich mich direkt auf, die Gegend mit meinem mitgebrachten Bike zu erkunden. Ideal war hierfür, dass der Nationalpark Zuid-Kennermerland direkt neben meinem Appartement einen Eingang hatte. Und was war das für einen Freude hier mit dem Rad unterwegs zu sein. Die Wege sind hervorragend ausgebaut und voll auf Wanderer und Fahrradfahrer abgestimmt, wie in Holland eigentlich überall. Da sollte sich Deutschland wirklich mal eine große Scheibe davon abschneiden. Aber wir haben ja die FDP in der Regierung, stop, genug sonst rege ich mich nur auf und das ist nicht gut für den Blutdruck 😆.
Vorbei an schönen Seen, tollen Rastmöglichkeiten mit Fernsicht und durch Wälder und Dünen bahnte ich mir den Weg ins Herz des Nationalparks. Bis hin zum eingezäunten Bereich der wild lebenden Wisent Herde. Für diese sind große Teile des Parks abgesperrt und man muss schon etwas Glück haben, sie am Rande ihres Gebietes zu erwischen. Ich hatte natürlich Glück, etwas. Ich konnte eine Mutter mit ihrem Kalb in einiger Entfernung durch einen flachen See waten sehen, bevor sie dann wieder in den Bäumen am Ufer verschwanden. Sehr schöne Tiere und ich hätte gerne mehr von ihnen zu Gesicht bekommen, was mir aber dann leider nicht vergönnt war.
Dafür traf ich aber noch auf eine Kröte, die gerade den Weg überquerte und eine ganz schön große Eidechse, bei der ich erst dachte es wäre eine kleine Schlange, bis ich die Füße sah.
Eine sehr schöne und angenehm entspannte Tour von ca. 40 Kilometern, die mir den Vormittag versüßt hat. Seid gespannt auf meine zweite Tour von der ich im nächsten Post berichten werde, da ging es dann zum Atlantikwall aber ich will noch nicht zu viel verraten.

today a first experience report from my recent vacation on the Dutch North Sea coast. I was lucky to catch a few days with cloudy skies and very pleasant 22 degrees.
So I set out directly to explore the area with my brought bike. Ideal for this was that the National Park Zuid-Kennermerland had an entrance right next to my apartment. And what was that for a joy to be here with the bike on the road. The paths are excellently developed and fully adapted to hikers and cyclists, as in Holland actually everywhere. Since Germany should really cut off a big slice of it. But we have the FDP in the government, stop, enough otherwise I'm just upset and that's not good for blood pressure 😆.
Past beautiful lakes, great resting places with distant views and through forests and dunes I made my way into the heart of the national park. Up to the fenced area of the wild bison herd. For these large parts of the park are closed off and one must have already something luck to catch them at the edge of their area. I was lucky, somewhat, of course. I could see a mother with her calf wading through a shallow lake some distance away before they disappeared back into the trees on the shore. Very beautiful animals and I would have liked to get to see more of them, but unfortunately this was not granted to me.
But I met a toad, which just crossed the path and a very large lizard, where I first thought it was a small snake, until I saw the feet.
A very nice and pleasantly relaxed tour of about 40 kilometers, which sweetened my morning. Be curious about my second tour of which I will report in the next post, there it went to the Atlantic Wall but I do not want to reveal too much.
