Hello dear community,
now there was a special highlight of our visit to Busan. The fish market in the large hall at the port. The biggest in Korea. But first the Busan Tower was on the program.
In order to get there we first had to climb a small mountain, but were then compensated with a great park, the tower and a wonderful all-round view. Then we headed towards the market hall. And as we got closer and still out of sight, we could smell the stench of fish. I'm telling you, this is only for the really tough 😆🤢.
But once you get used to it, it's pretty good. The fish market itself is really cool. As far as the eye can see aquariums with all kinds of sea creatures are sold here. Everything from lobster to shrimp, mussel, squid, eel to all kinds of sea fish. The saleswomen stand at every stand and advertise their wares. These are then also gladly taken out and held in front of your nose.
I especially loved the giant king crabs, one of which cost around €80 depending on the weight. But the penis fish were also a must-see attraction. But then I didn't want to eat one of those.
The process is such that you stroll through the market and choose what you would like to eat. You then buy this and the fish or whatever is taken out of the aquarium and taken up one floor. Here are countless small kitchens and tables. The "catch" is then freshly prepared for you here and can be eaten immediately at the tables. Really a great thing and extremely well attended. You have to search to find a free place.
There are also many stalls with dried foods such as small fish or dried fruits such as mangoes on this floor. And you can taste it anywhere. Delicious! We took a dried mango with us straight away.
So it was really a great visit that I wouldn't want to miss. A cool experience, even if I had to have a cold drink after all the stench afterwards to get a different smell in my mouth and nose. But I got something in the supermarket that I saw here in Kore for the first time. In the supermarket there are drinks such as lemonade, coffee etc. packed in bags that you buy together with a cup of ice cream and then mix them up on the spot and have a quick drink in the cup. Actually quite a sensible idea.

nun Stand ein besonderes Highlight unseres Besuches in Busan an. Der Fischmarkt in der großen Halle am Hafen, der größte von Korea. Aber zuerst stand noch der Busan Tower auf dem Programm.
Um dort hin zu gelangen mussten wir erstmal einen kleinen Berg erklimmen, wurden aber dann mit einer tollen Parkanlage, dem Turm und einem herrlichen Rundumblick entschädigt. Danach ging es los in Richtung Markthalle. Und schon beim Näherkommen noch außer Sichtweite konnten wir den Fischgestank wahrnehmen. Ich sage Euch, das ist nur was für die ganz Harten 😆🤢.
Wenn man sich aber erstmal etwas daran gewöhnt hat geht es ganz gut. Der Fischmarkt an sich ist schon richtig cool. Soweit das Auge blickt Aquarien mit allen Arten von Meerestieren die hier verkauft werden. Alles von Hummern über Garnelen, Muscheln, Tintenfischen, Aalen bis hin zu allen Sorten von Meeresfischen. An jedem Stand stehen die Verkäuferinnen und preisen ihre Waren an. Diese werden dann auch gerne mal raus geholt und einem vor die Nase gehalten.
Ganz besonders fand ich die riesigen Königskrabben, von denen eine so um die 80 € gekostet hat, je nach Gewicht. Aber auch die Penisfische waren eine Attraktion, die man gesehen haben muss. Essen wollte ich so einen nun aber dann doch nicht.
Der Ablauf ist so, dass man über den Markt schlendert und sich aussucht, was man gerne Essen würde. Dies kauft man dann und der Fisch oder die was auch immer, wird aus dem Aquarium genommen und ein Stockwerk nach oben gebracht. Hier sind dann unzählige kleine Küchen und Tische. Der "Fang" wird dann hier sofort frisch für einen zubereitet und kann an den Tischen sofort verspeist werden. Wirklich eine tolle Sache und extrem stark besucht. Man muss schon suchen, um einen freien Platz zu finden.
Auf diesem Stockwerk befinden sich auch sehr viele Stände mit getrockneten Lebensmitteln wie kleinen Fischen oder getrockneten Früchten wie Mango. Und überall kann man probieren. Sehr lecker! Wir haben uns direkt mal eine getrocknete Mango mitgenommen.
Also wirklich ein toller besuch, den ich nicht missen möchte. Eine coole Erfahrung, auch wenn ich nach dem ganzen Gestank danach erstmal ein Kaltgetränk zu mir nehmen musste um einen anderen Geruch in Mund und Nase zu bekommen. Dafür habe ich mir im Supermarkt etwas geholt, das ich hier in Kore zum ersten mal gesehen habe. Es gibt im Supermarkt Getränke wie Limo, Kaffee etc. in Tüten abgepackt die man zusammen mit einem Becher Eis kauft und dann direkt vor Ort mischt und so einen schnellen Drink im Becher hat. Eigentlich ganz sinnvolle Idee.
