Ichi is a goze. Goze is a kind of Japanese a blind classical guitar player who sings Japanese songs. Ichi has actually been blind since childhood. She was raised by the legendary blind samurai Zatoichi.
After growing up Ichi separated from Zatoichi. She joined the goze club. In the goze club, no women are allowed to have sex with men (which means awkwardly). One day Ichi is raped. Because of that Ichi was removed from the goze. But in the end she was accepted back. The rapist was not satisfied, he wanted to do it again. In the action, Ichi kills the rapist.
Finally she ventured. And meet Toma Fujihira. A wandering handsome young man. At that time Ichi was about to be raped by the bandits but Toma came. When he was about to fight, Toma was unable to pull out his samurai, so Ichi herself killed the bandits.
Ichi continues to wander to find Zatoichi who is considered her father. She arrived at a village controlled by the Yakuza Shirakawa clan. This clan protects the village well but there is a threat from the Banki gang.
Ichi asks for directions with a little boy named Kotaro to go to a gambling place. There Toma Fujihira gambled and won with Ichi's help. Then Ichi left Toma. Toma followed Ichi but on the way they were intercepted by some of the Banki gang who lost their bet. They asked for back the money that was brought by Toma.
But Toma refused and a fight broke out, again Toma was unable to pull out his samurai which Ichi finally took action and killed all Banki members.After a while the son of chairman Shirakawa , Toraji came. He thought it was Toma who had defeated the banki gang. Finally Toma was appointed as the protector of the Shirakawa group by Toraji.
The Banki gang did not accept it, they took revenge. During a big celebration in the village, a banki gang attacked and killed Shirakawa's chairman.
Ichi did not stay silent. She put up a fight and finally she pretended to lose to be brought to the leader of the Banki gang.On a mountain, Ichi meets the leader of the Banki gang. There was a fight. The leader of the Banki gang is a great samurai. Ichi lost in that fight. The leader of the Banki gang also said he had a fight with Zatoichi in which Zatoichi eventually died of his illness.
Ichi was injured and put in a dark and hidden place but Toma was able to find her and took her out.The leader of the Banki gang knew that Ichi was brought back to the village by Toma.
Toraji and Shirakawa's group had already prepared themselves for a counterattack from the Banki gang.Ichi was brought by Toma to Kotaro's house. Toma returned to Shirakawa to protect the village. But Toma was actually beaten by members of Shirakawa because he was not considered a samurai.
Kotaro came and said that Toma was better than Ichi. Finally Toraji asked Toma to protect the village from the attacks of the Banki gang again.The Banki gang came with their troops. Finally there was a big war between the Shirakawa clan and the Banki gang. The leader of Toraji was injured but the leader of the Banki gang was still not fighting.Toma was still unable to pull out his samurai he fell and was unconscious.
When Toraji got up to fight the leader of the Banki gang, Toma woke up and pulled Toraji back.Finally, Toma slowly pulled out his samurai. There was a balanced fight between Toma and the leader of the Banki gang. The leader of the banki gang was stabbed in the stomach and Toma was also unknowingly injured in the solar plexus.
When the two fell, Ichi came with a body that had not healed from its wounds. Ichi realized that the leader of the Banki gang was not dead. The leader of the Banki gang got up and suddenly attacked. But Ichi was ready. With alacrity, Ichi managed to fly her samurai at the head of the Banki gang.
Finally, the leader of the Banki gang fell to the ground and died. Other members of the Banki gang escape.Ichi then continued her journey to return Toma's samurai in his mother's grave.
