Ponche crema… delicious 😋

Today we went to a shopping center in my city and visually delight in this Ponche Crema, is a licor traditional Venezuelan dessert or holiday drink made of condensed milk, sugar, eggs, and rum. It is usually consumed during Christmas time, but it can be enjoyed all year round. The name comes from the Spanish word "ponche", which means "punch".

To make Ponche Crema, begin by heating a can of condensed milk in a pan over low heat. Once it is warm, add sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Crack four eggs and add them to the pan, stirring continuously. Add about a cup of rum and stir for about five minutes until the ingredients are well-combined. Finally, pour the mixture into a large bowl and let it cool. Serve it cold with some grated nutmeg on top and enjoy!
