After four long years, my best friend, together with her kiddos and her husband, was back in the Philippines. I wasn't able to meet them when they arrived in Manila, but I was lucky enough to meet them the day before they go back to Texas. Their visit was sudden and short. I wanted to fly to our hometown so I could meet my best friend and the rest of our high school classmates. Unfortunately, I can't, so I waited on their last night in the Philippines to meet her and the kiddos.
We had a lot of catch-ups and ordered Chowking for our dinner. My best friend ordered a lot because there is no Chowking available in the USA. The total bill was worth 2,500 PHP and there were four adults only and then two kiddos. The food preparation lasted an hour, and we ended up eating at around 10 PM.
And then, the couple surprised me with this Harry Potter merchandise! Before, they gifted me with a Marauder's map umbrella, and now, a wand and a book.
We only had less than a day to talk, but I am still happy for that fulfilling few hours with them.
