Introduction:
There are villages in most parts of our country full of greenery. In our villages it is like a green land. The green nature of the village fills the hearts of people everywhere with peace. The peaceful environment of the village removes all the fatigue of the people. The village is the lifeblood of this country.

Location of the village:
The name of our village is Ratanpur. It belongs to Dohar upazila of Dhaka district. The Ichhamati river flows by its side. The natural shava on both sides of the river has given this village a wonderful beauty. Our village can be easily reached by road from Dhaka.

The natural beauty of the village:
According to the picture of our village. Our village is adorned with mango-blackberry, jackfruit-litchi, coconut-betel nut, shimul-palash, palm-tamal and various plants. The close proximity of the shrubbery captivates everyone. Pakhpakhali's Kalkujan is always full of villagers. Horizontal crop fields, paddy-kaun's palms, the shepherd's flute in the shadow of a quiet butt at noon bored the mind. Dighi-Daba, Bill-Jheel- what a wonderful beauty!

In sending them. Foreign exchange has strengthened the financial position of the people of this village. Another major source of income for the village is cottage industry. Nakshikantha, carpets made of wool, various upholstery products made of jute are made in almost every house. The villagers earn a lot of money by selling these in the city. Besides, the villagers earn money by selling agricultural products such as paddy, jute, wheat and various types of vegetables. Every Wednesday there is a market in the village.
