Mount Gede is a mountain in West Java which has an altitude of 2958 meters above sea level. At that altitude, the air is cold enough to reach below 15 degrees Celsius. So that the Mount Gede area is an area that has humid air.
The humidity in the forest of Mount Gede causes the growth of various types of moss, both on the ground on rocks and on large trees. The moss itself gives an atmosphere of natural beauty while adding to the awesomeness of the Mount Gede forest.
There are various types of moss that grow here. The friends grew up without a place. On rocky ground, on rocks and on trees from the base to the tip of the tree. When I was in the forest of Mount Gede while climbing with my friends, I saw how beautiful the moss in this forest looked, especially when the moss was wet. But it is undeniable that there is a feeling of eerie when I look at the moss that grows on those big trees.
That's a big mountain forest that is overgrown with moss. Moss grows here because the air on Mount Gede is indeed humid due to the height and it is also overgrown with various types of large and lush trees.
