In Soctland if a stranger knocks on your door and asks to use your bathroom you can not refuse because if you did, he/she has the right to sue you. This is an extension of the old Scottish common law requiring hospitality to be showed to all guests, this ‘law’ has never been formally authorised by parliament, but is enforceable. It harks back to the days when travellers on foot would cross the land of neighbouring clansman. It is widely accepted and remains commonly used by hill walkers and hikers across Scotland.
It’s an offence in Scotland to be drunk while in charge of a cow, horse, carriage or steam engine – or while in the possession of a loaded firearm. In my opinion I think this law is fair enough and should be emphasize to all country
