1. There is nothing like Marital Rape in Nigeria
"unlawful carnal knowledge of a woman or girl
without her consent" is Rape but unlawful carnal knowledge only applied to unmarried people so if a husband has Sex with his wife without her consent, according to the language of the law is not considered a Rape
(criminal code of Act section 357)
2. Assault a male
Anyone who unlawful and indecently assault a male can face up to 3years in prison but anyone who dose the same towards a female face up to only 2 years
(criminal code of Act section 353)
3. Female police officers need permission to get marriage
A female police officers need permission to get marriage and they most ask for that permission in written form, from the commissioner of police before they get married
(Police Act Regulation 124)
4. Pregnant unmarried femal officer
If an unmarried female police officers ever become pregnant she will be fired
(Police Act Regulation 127)

5. Husband can correct their wife
According to sharia law which is applicable in twelve northern states husband can correct there wife in the same matter parent and teacher can correct children as long there is not the infliction of grievous hurt
