Effort is important,
but knowing where to make effort
in your life makes all the difference.
You must take charge of your thoughts by carefully screening the information that fills your heart; you can’t afford to imbibe all the information available in the world into your mind and spirit if you want to live by the Spirit. The best information available in this world is for the most part contrary to the wisdom of God. No wonder 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “..the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” You can’t continue to depend on the wrong information for your life; you must renew your mind with the Word. You shouldn’t continue to live and reason the way you did before you gave your life to Christ.
When You’re Born Again, You’re Born after the Lord from Heaven
Whatever God gives you; whatever He blesses you with; no matter how big or small it is; He expects you to share it with others. God’s unusual blessings are reserved for givers.
Therefore always be quick to release; always be prompt to give for it is more blessed to give than to receive (ACTS 20:35).
