I'm so happy to have you going through my write-up once again. As for those who stopped by at my post the last time on parent's indulgence part one, I'll be writing on the part 2 today and for those who missed out on the part one, just click here to read.
After Harriet and Kelvin had their little misunderstanding with their parents watching them unknowingly to them, Kelvin went to apologize to her. His) parents knew something was wrong with their relationship and they loved Harriet for their son. They were supposed to leave the following day and Harriet's appointment was supposed to also end the following day but the parents decided to stay for extra two days.
Kelvin son, his mother called.
Yes mum, Kelvin replied.
Your father and I have decided to stay for two more days hope that is fine with you?
But Mum why the sudden change? Kelvin said in a worried tone.
If not for something I would have taught you wanted us out of your house this instant, his mother said.
No Mum that's not I mean, he replied confusedly.
Okay then that means we are staying, his mother said smiling.
After the conversation with his mother, he went straight to Harriet who was already getting ready to leave.
Kelvin: Harriet, my mum and dad are staying for two more days.
Harriet: Well that has nothing to do with me.
Kelvin: Please can you stay for two more days?
Harriet: No, I have an order to deliver within two days and my equipment are at my place and I need to do my business too don't you think?
Kelvin: I know,okay fine I'll give you half a million.
Harriet: No, I don't want to do this again.
Kelvin: One million then, (Harriet standing dead), deal. Don't worry you can make the order here at my place.
Harriet: I need to go get somethings from my place.
Kelvin: That's fine, I'll accompany you.
Harriet: No, I can go myself.
Kelvin: I insist, that's what I'm supposed to do as your fiance remember?
Harriet: Fine.
They both went to Harriet's place. On getting to her house, she told Kelvin to have his sit while she gets him something to drink. As she was about taking a sharp turn, she saw Michael who was putting on only pants, she immediately screamed.
Harriet: Oh my God, MJ what are you doing here by this time, I thought you said you weren't coming now?
Michael: Well, I'm here now.
Harriet: Fine, whatever, just get Kelvin something to drink while I go take my shower.
Michael: Okay.
All this while, Kelvin has been wondering what was going on because he never knew Micheal was this close to the girl he introduced to him as his fake fiance.
Kelvin: What's going on Michael? I have eyes on her man.
Michael was just feeling restless as he walked away to get his boss something to drink as Harriet has told him earlier. After giving him something to drink, he went upstairs to meet Harriet who was still in the bathroom. Immediately Harriet saw him, she screamed because she was naked and on hearing her scream, Kelvin immediately ran upstairs to see what was going on and they both were her room with her almost naked. While she was shouting at them to go out of her room the curtain she was using to cover herself fell and at this point they both left. After that, she parked all she will be needing for the baking she had to do and they both left for kelvin's place.
The next day, Micheal went to work to see how his business have been and also to clear his desk for the next two days and that same day, his parents also went out to explore a little. Harriet was at home baking her cake she was to deliver the next day. After icing the cake, she left it in the kitchen and went out to get the carton to package the cake.
While she was out, kelvin's parents came back from where they went to and the first thing Mrs Clarkson did was to go to the kitchen to look for food and she saw the cake, she then took some for herself and her husband. As she was about going upstairs, she saw her son so she went to welcome him and after welcoming him, she gave him one plate of the cake and took the other one for her and her husband.
Kelvin immediately sat down to eat his cake, he was enjoying it when Harriet walked in. On seeing Kelvin eating a cake, she became unsure of what was happening. She immediately ran to the kitchen and on getting to the kitchen and seeing that it has been destroyed, she screamed in pain. Kelvin and his parents hearing her scream they all ran to the kitchen.
Mrs Clarkson was so confused because she thought it was a cake for the family as she was not informed that Harriet had an order. Kelvin immediately went to console her and promised to make everything right by doing anything she want him to do. She then told him to assist her in making a new one.
While the both of them were in the kitchen, they both had a lot of fun together, they get to know more about themselves. They became very close that evening. After preparing the cake, it was already late at night and they were very tired so they both retired to their bedroom.
The next morning, Kelvin woke up very early and helped Harriet made the delivery because she was to make the delivery before 7 am that morning but she woke up few minutes to 9. Kelvin was the one that woke her up with her breakfast in bed. She was really grateful to him for helping her make the delivery before time and she was also grateful for the breakfast.
That day, Kelvin called Michael to ask him if he knew Harriet's favorite food, so he told him Harriet loves India dish so much. He took Harriet and his parents to the best eatery in town and he made the orders for Harriet. Harriet was so happy she came to that eatery because she has heard so much about it. She was served her order, when she saw it and found out it was India dish, she almost threw up, she could barely taste the food. Kelvin's parents noticed it and asked her what was wrong but she said she was fine. Kelvin told us this was your best meal and you barely touched it, I would have been surprised if he didn't know his fiancee's best food, his father concluded.
Kelvin: Yes dad this is her best dish, he said with confidence.
Harriet immediately took her phone and sent him a message saying I hate India dish. Kelvin felt so bad it he couldn't say anything to his parents or to Harriet if not his parents would find out they were only pretending. At home later that day, he apologized to her. It was Friday and it was time for kelvin's parents to leave. Now they were feeling okay to leave because they've seen that they've started bonding more. Kelvin went to drop off his parents at the airport and pleaded with Harriet to wait for him. So Harriet went inside the house to arrange her things awaiting Kelvin. When she finished, she went downstairs to get water to drink and she saw an unknown lady who acted as if she was kelvin's fiancee. She felt really hurt and she immediately went upstairs and carried her things and left without waiting for Kelvin. When Kelvin arrived and saw the lady, he was surprised. Kelvin: Hey Susan, what are you doing here, why didn't you call me? Have you seen Harriet? Susan: Yes, she already left and she also left you a note, stretching a paper at Kelvin. The letter read thus, Never try to reach me ever again. Kelvin was so surprised because he taught they were already into each other. Susan started acting sad saying her husband divorced her. Kelvin felt sorry for her and consoled her because they were long time friends. She immediately asked for water, so Kelvin went to get it for her, while he went away, she took his phone he left on the couch and messaged Harriet and deleted it. Harriet was about entering her apartment when she received a message, she stopped to read it because she was expecting Kelvin to call her. The message read thus, You left so early, I wanted to show you to my fiancee. On reading the text, Harriet hissed and went inside her apartment. Kelvin never bored calling because according to the letter, he was not to call her and Harriet also thought there was no need contacting him as well. After two weeks of leaving kelvin's place, Harriet was able to open her own bakery. She and her friends went out to celebrate. When they got to the eatery, why having fun and making toast, she saw Kelvin and Susan walked in, they both made eye contact but couldn't stop but kept looking at each other with hatred. While they were at that,a wine was brought to Harriet and her friends table. Harriet thought it was from Kelvin, so she immediately stood up and went to Kelvin and rained all manner of insults on him because she taught it was Kelvin who sent the drink to her table. The waiter that dropped the drink on her table immediately came to tell her where the drinks came from. She felt ashamed of herself and she went back to her seat. She felt so uncomfortable staying inside the eatery, so she told her friends she wanted to go out to take some air. Immediately she went out, Kelvin went after her, although Susan tried to stop him but he didn't yield to her advice. When he got outside, he saw Harriet standing outside, all quiet and sad. Kelvin went to meet her, she tried to look away but Kelvin kept forcing her to look at him. Kelvin: Are you not going to apologize fo what you did? Harriet: What did I do? Kelvin: For leaving without waiting and also for accusing and insulting me earlier. Harriet: I will do no such thing, you asked me to wait because you wanted to show your fiancee to me!!. You even brought the chef to prepare meal for the two of you. Kelvin: No, that was all for you. Harriet: Really? Kelvin: Yes. Harriet: But you sent me a message. Kelvin: No, I didn't. Wait, did you leave me a note? Harriet: No!. At this point, Kelvin knew it was all Susan's doings, so he apologized to Harriet and Harriet also apologized and they both came back together. After one week of coming together, it was a new day and it was kelvin's birthday. They were still on bed when Harriet woke him up and gave him a cupcake wishing him a happy birthday and told him to eat the cake but he was like why the haste and while he was speaking, he brought out a ring and proposed to her, she didn't think twice before saying yes. After she accepted his proposal, he then felt okay to eat his cupcake. Immediately he took a bite, he felt something inside the cake, when he looked at it closely, he found out it was a ring. Harriet wanted to propose to him, he was so happy and asked for his ring back but Harriet refused to give it to him and that was how their live together as a real couple started.
