I recently made a post about how we can apply Markdowns to better beautify our posts.
And I made some examples that we can apply like Centering a text, how to make your headline bold, how to bolden a text.
You can access the initial post using this link Beautify your post using Markdowns
Today I will be adding some more markdowns to the initial post, come along as we learn markdown application together.
1 CREATING A TABLE
Tables can come in quite handy as they better illustrate one information against another, removing some of the messy outlook that writing it all out night have produced.
We can create a table by using the following
Table(Food) | Table(Price)
------- | -------
Rice | 259
Beans | 300
And on and on as much as you need, the output will look like this
Table(Food) | Table(Price) |
---|---|
Rice | 259 |
Beans | 300 |
Looks cool right, way better than just listing them in your post.
2 How to add a superscript or subscript
For instance I need to write the chemical formula for carbon dioxide which is CO2, writing it in this form isn't technically correct as the 2 is supposed to be a subscript.
Or I want to write and equation with power values , 2 raised to the power of two would look like twenty two if I wrote it as 22. Which is why we need the codes for superscript and subscript.
Superscript
Simply write it as
22
which equals 4
This will look like this after application
22 which equals 4
Subscript
Simply write this as
CO2
After application we have
CO2
OR for water which is H2O
We have
H2O
After application we have
H2O
They all look very easy right, looking forward to seeing the applications on your posts.
Thanks for stopping by.
