Well I am ready for another post about my growing BLURT account. I am trying to do a post every time I reach a thousand more staked BLURT. It has taken me longer this time, for two reasons, lower amount of votes received and very little effort on my part. Still after today I will have 34,000 BLURT powered up, which to me means that I won't even be able to reach my revised 2024 goal.
OK, in January I set a goal to reach Orca status, 50,000 BLURT, by year's end. Around May I decided that was an unachievable goal, so I revised it to 40,000 staked BLURT. Well we are short of less than three months for the year to end and I am still short of 6,000 BLURT to reach my revised goal. I frankly think I won't make it.
As you can see, even after redeeming my rewards I am still short of a few BLURT to reach 34,000 staked. So I will have to power up some of the liquid BLURT I keep on hand to pay for BLURT expenses, just a little anyway.
Yes, I will only power up 15 BLURT, it is enough to reach 34,000 and I still have enough liquid BLURT for expenses.
So there you go, I now have 34,000 BLURT staked, It is a nice amount but not as much as I was expecting to have. But still, it is good to see that work i actually do makes my account grow.
