Every day I read the news from all around the World, UK, USA, Honduras, Mexico, China, RT from Russia, etc.. Well today as I was doing my news update rounds I came upon an article on RT where it says that Russia is going to make a 180 on its cryptocurrency policy. A few years back I read that Russia was banning crypto from the country and this posed a huge problems for crypto users in that country. In fact I have no idea about how they coped with this fact.
But now, and mostly I guess due to the fact that most Russian banks have been banned from doing business in what is considered the West plus a few other countries, SWIFT no longer available and a host of other problems, Russia is looking for a way out of the USD and EU dominated economic World. It seems that one of the ways they are looking into is to use crypto to bypass the blocks they face.
I do not know if this will help the Russians or not, but I do believe adding a new player to the crypto World will see prices go sky high at least in some coins, I guess BTC and ETH would top this list. But any coin that can be used for international commerce will be in a positive wave, that I am sure of. Many people might see this in a negative light, but I think money is money and somebody will always take advantage of this type of situation. These are the times I wish I had wallets full of crypto.
