Recientemente publicaron las fechas de los exámenes finales de mi carrera y la realidad es que no estábamos preparados, no precisamente porque no hemos estudiado, sino por el pequeño detalle de que un gran número de los profesores no han realizado ni siquiera los segundos parciales… entonces realizar los finales se vuelve algo complicado, más si destacamos que empiezan en una semana. Me parece un poco increíble la organización nula que han tenido ciertos profesores este año académico puesto que ya deberían tener la experiencia de un año académico a distancia y saber estructurar la materia de la mejor manera para no presentarse estos problemas que al final nos afectan a todos. Con todo lo que se tardan los profesores corrigiendo los exámenes…

Recently they published the dates of the final exams of my career and the reality is that we were not prepared, not precisely because we have not studied, but by the small detail that a large number of teachers have not even made the second partial... then make the finals becomes somewhat complicated, more if we emphasize that start in a week. I find the lack of organization that some professors have had this academic year a little unbelievable, since they should already have the experience of an academic year at a distance and know how to structure the subject in the best way to avoid these problems that in the end affect us all. With all the time the professors take to correct the exams....
Para tener la posibilidad de presentar los exámenes finales, la nota entre el primer parcial y el segundo parcial promediada debería ser mayor a nueve con cinco (9.5) que resultan en un diez (10). Por esto, si no hemos presentando uno pues no sabemos si vamos a poder presentar el examen final de la materia, y mientras mayor sea la espera crece la ansiedad, nos desorganiza en nuestra estructura de estudio. Existe, sin embargo, una alternativa que es no presentar el examen final en la fecha establecida según situaciones extraordinarias, creo que esta podría ser una de esas situaciones a las que se refiere este artículo del reglamento, pero de cualquier manera también presenta la incertidumbre de qué fecha escogerá el profesor porque puede chocar con otra materia y siguen los problemas.
In order to have the possibility of taking the final exams, the grade between the first and second midterm averaged should be higher than nine with five (9.5) which results in a ten (10). Therefore, if we have not presented one, we do not know if we will be able to present the final exam of the subject, and the longer we wait, the more anxiety grows, and it disorganizes us in our study structure. There is, however, an alternative, which is not to present the final exam on the established date according to extraordinary situations, I believe that this could be one of those situations referred to in this article of the regulation, but in any case it also presents the uncertainty of what date the professor will choose because it may clash with another subject and the problems continue.
¿Qué haré? Pues por ahora me voy a relajar, tomándome una taza de café y apreciando este maravilloso atardecer que la vida me está regalando para mantener la calma, estos días he podido ver atardeceres demasiado hermosos, con esos colores vibrantes que transmiten vitalidad. Ya los profesores se van a reportar en algún momento indicando qué va a ser lo que vamos a hacer y todo pasará, si se vienen todos al mismo tiempo, ni modos, tocará echarle pichón presentando de la mejor forma que se pueda porque la alternativa es dejarse dominar por el miedo. Lo único que espero es que al menos las materias que todavía no han cargado las notas del primer parcial, lo hagan antes de que sea ya momento de presentar los segundos parciales porque de verdad para los estudiantes es diferente presentar sabiendo la nota que llevamos.
What am I going to do? Well, for now I am going to relax, having a cup of coffee and appreciating this wonderful sunset that life is giving me to keep calm, these days I have been able to see beautiful sunsets, with those vibrant colors that transmit vitality. The teachers will report at some point indicating what we are going to do and everything will happen, if they all come at the same time, no way, we will have to do our best to present the best way we can because the alternative is to be dominated by fear. The only thing I hope is that at least the subjects that have not yet uploaded the grades of the first midterm, do it before it is time to present the second midterm because it is really different for the students to present knowing the grade we have.
