Halloween is a holiday celebrated every 31st of October of every year, and today it is celebrated on a Sunday.
Brief history of halloween
The custom dates back to the ancient Celtic celebration of Samhain, when people lit bonfires and dressed up in costumes to fend off ghosts. Pope Gregory III established November 1 as a day to celebrate all saints in the eighth century.
How it is celebrated
So people dress up in different costumes and go from house to house for trick or treat which is really amazing and a lot of fun, and there's usually a Halloween party which is also a lot of fun and entertainment.
Halloween day is also full of spooky and scary things and spooky costumes.
However, when it comes to Halloween, some cultures and society avoids discussing ghosts, spirits, jinns, and other supernatural beings out of fear of bringing ill luck. As a result, observing Halloween as a celebration has been met with skepticism by the general public and some corporations.
