Keys to healthy relationships

Hi Guys!

Life is based on the establishment of relationships. From the very moment of our conception, the establishment of a relationship is established as an indispensable condition for our existence. Now, as we develop and advance in age and experience we take for granted that our life depends on the healthy relationships we create.

At this point you may think that there are many types of relationships, and it is so, but in all relationships the qualifying adjective that should accompany them is "healthy", nowadays there is much talk and emphasis on how to move away from toxic relationships, how to move away from environments and people that make us sick, but no one speaks from the solution to the problem which is in the counterpart of the disease, ie health and wellness.

Healthy relationships start with ourselves, with a beautiful relationship with ourselves based on love. At times I have encountered people who find it difficult to express themselves and their lives in a kind and positive way. These people who move forward in the midst of darkness sneak in, seep into the midst of everyone and little by little they sow a little of that darkness in the lives of those around them. Here are some keys:

1.- Love your own life: This love will make you think about your qualities, abilities and see the possibilities you will always have. When you love yourself, that love attracts people who also love themselves and are able to share that love in a healthy way.

2.- Create harmonious environments: Believing that we live in a war against the world only makes us be at odds with everything in our path. Living on the defensive, as if every being that approaches us comes into our life to hurt us is a serious mistake that does not allow us to live in peace. Life is a journey, not a war, let us try to harmonize everything in our path, to be the point of balance and encounter, especially with mother earth and the other inhabitants of her. We are not exclusive, we do not own everything, here everything is a loan. My mother taught me to return what I borrowed in perfect conditions even if I could a little improved and that rule of life I apply it to everything.

3.- We are a part of the whole and we are also a whole: We are not exclusive, nor the only inhabitants of the planet. Our life is unique in this here and now. We came to build and to give life, we came to be happy.

4.- Understanding diversity: If we want healthy relationships we must understand that no being is equal to another and that this is not wrong. We all have the same right to live in freedom, with respect, love and to have a dignified and honest life. Understanding diversity helps us to see ourselves as what we are human beings, one more species on the planet.

5.- Respect, value, love: The fundamental pillars of life. When you are able to understand that every relationship is based on respect, then you will have understood everything. Healthy relationships are based on a principle of mutual attraction, remembering that we attract what we are and the energy that emanates from our inner being is the one that attracts that same energy.

6.- A healthy relationship is created in freedom and makes you a better person: All relationships are free, understanding by freedom the right to be ourselves, whoever demands a change beyond your own self, whoever treats you as a possession cannot be good for your life. A relationship based on freedom means to be able to share tastes and interests, to value spaces of privacy and moments of solitude. While we all seek to have and create relationships to share our life and be accompanied, this does not mean that we should isolate ourselves from the rest of the world. When you lose yourself, change and stop being yourself in a relationship then you have lost everything and that is not healthy.

When we understand that healthy relationships are based on the philosophy of love we are able to establish a true balance in our lives. Our existence in harmony depends on who we attract into our lives and the type of relationships we establish with them. Thank you for reading and commenting.
