I don't know how a mulberry tree looks like and how mulberry fruits taste like. It is not common here in Davao City. Out of curiosity, I tried to buy some cuttings at Shopee, so I can plant them. It only costs ₱100 ($2) per 10 cuttings. When it arrived, the seller gave me five more free cuttings. I planted all of them in medium pots. I dont know why, but there are about five cuttings that didn't survive. And when the other cuttings began to grow a few leaves, I gave some to my mother, my sister and friends. I now only have two pots left.
After three months, as you can see in the photo, it began to produce its fruits. My kids and I were so happy because in a few days, we will be able to taste it. But I think there's something wrong with it. The fruits are just too small. Unlike what I saw in other's pictures. Maybe because it's still their first fruits or maybe because they're just planted on a small pot and they didn't get the chance to freely move its roots. Maybe! I am thinking of transferring them on bigger pots soon.
