Noodles are one of the favorite dishes of the Indonesian people. One of the most popular noodle dishes is Mie Aceh. Mie Aceh is one of the typical spicy noodle dishes from the Aceh region which is made of thick yellow noodles equipped with curry spices and mutton, beef, seafood, and others.
There are two types of Acehnese noodles that are commonly found, namely Acehnese fried noodles and Acehnese noodles with soup. This dish also comes with sliced fried onions, chips, cucumber, and lime. The taste of this one noodle is certainly more aromatic and has a thicker seasoning compared to noodle dishes in general.
Some of the spices that are usually used in making Mie Aceh are turmeric, cumin, cardamom, pepper and garlic. Of course, the taste of Mie Aceh can't be rejected just like that.
