My grandmother and the voodoo man

There was a time my old grandmother paid us a visit in the village of akanato. She was sick and couldn't walk straight because of joint pain.

While she was there, an old tall dark man paid us a visit, he was a voodoo man. When he came he saw my grandmother sited out and holding the legs. The voodoo man shouted "I came in the right time your problems are over now old woman".

This statement alone got my grandmother excited that her problems is over and the legs and joint pains is going to be taken care off.

The voodoo man removed a bottle from his pocket and inside the bottle was a very long cross which he used in performing his wonders, the voodoo man told my grandmother that he is going to carry out some processes on her and she would felt an instant relieved of pains all over the legs.

My grandmother mother accepted it and asked him to begin the process, the man remove the long cross and place on my grandmother leg for some time and then he commanded the pains to get in to the cross which he latter removed the cross and tied it to a plantain and ask my grandmother to wait for 30 minutes that the pains is going to be transferred in the the plantain and she would not feel any pains again.

Immediately the voodoo man finished tieing the cross to the plantain he requested for a huge some of money which my grandmother was not able to pay so he left the compound in anger, after a month a severe pains came back to my grandmother.
