Day four! We already explored our small cozy beach and got to visit the sandy, big one so we now started to explore further! This one of the things on our list, balutta bay That is near very popular place on Malta, Piceville. That is a place for parties and youth but we didn’t know that and experienced that kind of Malta life till last day 😅 but everything was just at the time it needed to be so this day is all about this beach in the center of the city and is famous for this church and amazing old architecture that I was so impressed.
Let me talk a little about it. So the first picture shows Knisja tal-Karmnu founded 1859. but dedicated to lady of Carmel a 100 years later. It was rebuild few times and it is recognized aa parish church 😃
On the other side is just super modern hotels so the contrast is insane 😂 next to it, second to last, is other building that is stunning, like my phone couldn’t take picture and beauty as my eyes saw. I was impressed by it and not sure why it’s not something never seen before but it is just beautiful 😻 let me tell you about it more:
Balluta Buildings It was built in 1928 for the Marquis John Scicluna, The building's name is derived from the oak trees (Maltese: ballut) which grew in the area in front of it, very characteristic trees aeound Malta and also Italy, and it is explainable cuz they are neighbors 😂 The building originally contained some of the largest and most luxurious apartments in Europe, 20 of them, and the apartments were so big, so glorious and the ceiling was so high which was giving that glory even bigger glory 😍
It consists of three connected blocks of flats, with three vertical structures. After that day, and a cute lunch we got home and ofc played cards and have a lot of laugh before bad 🥰
