My experience while traveling today.
I was in a transit going back to school, and our car was in a traffic jam. I looked out from the car window because I was sitting at the extreme, I saw a young beggar, she should be of age between 5-7years.
I was filled with compassion and also thankful to God for been raised in a home and not in the roadside. Then, I called the girl and gave her money, and she was so happy. Immediately, I noticed troops of young beggars stretching forth their hands for me to give them money, but honestly I don't have enough there.
But there was this young beggar, he is between the age of 9-10years, he was so desperate that he stretched his hands inside the vehicle trying to touch my school bag, and I was sarced that he might open it and take something valuable. So, I had no choice than to shut the car window, in doing that I mistakenly hit the car window screen in his hand, it hurt him and he withdrew his hand.
Immediately he withdrew his hand, he started raining abuses on me, although I couldn't hear him due to the closed window, but his gesture said it all.
In my mind, I was contemplating if I was right or wrong?
And also should a beggar be abusive or cool headed?
But I never blamed the teen beggar, because I knew the environment was already harsh to him.
