Today is October 29th. Anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye. Today we celebrated the 100th anniversary of our Republic.
I am very lucky to be alive on such an important day.
In the celebration program, it was written that 100 navy ships would pass through the Bosphorus, warplanes would put on a show, and there would be a fireworks display.
I woke up early for this year's celebrations.
I tried to go to the place where I could watch the shows with the most beautiful view by the Bosphorus.
It was very crowded everywhere. Everyone had made plans like me and some had grabbed the places with beautiful manras very early.
I illegally entered a private land surrounded by wires and found a hill with a beautiful view.
I watched the airplane show from this spot. The planes wrote 100 in the sky.
Then 100 navy ships passed through the Bosphorus in turn.
Then I waited for the weather to get dark. Meanwhile, I changed my location by walking to be closer to the sea.
But everywhere was very crowded and I couldn't even take a step near the seaside. Soon I found a cemetery on the hill. I tried to watch the fireworks from the cemetery.
The location of the fireworks changed every year. In the past years, flames were raining down from this bridge. But this year, fireworks were shot from the other side of the bridge.
Unfortunately, my efforts were in vain. I tried to watch the fireworks show from afar.
Afterwards, we had fun singing songs with flags on the streets.
As befits the 100th anniversary, everyone celebrated the birthday of the Republic of Turkey.
Long live the Republic of Türkiye!
I want to complete my post with the word of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk...
''How happy to say I am a Turk''
Brother! Congratulations!!!
