Just a year ago, I would have grabbed my camera and taken a million pictures in a flash. And then I would have forced myself to go through them all. However, I quickly realized that this was not the type of photographer I wanted to be. I don't want to go crazy every time I grab my camera! I don't want to spend hours sorting through a bunch of photos to shoot!
So I took the time to change my approach to photography. Instead of running, I slowed down. I aimed ahead. I also need fire. In the process, I learned more about myself as an artist. One of the biggest revelations I made was my love for black and white photography. Before that, I only converted photos to black and white out of necessity. Maybe the white balance is off or the color is off. But now, because I've been slow, I deliberately shoot to create a black and white photo and I love it. I can confidently say that being a conscious photographer is the kind of photographer you want to be. So let's be quiet together.

Let's be intentional. The more efficient we are in our processes so we can spend more time creating the work we love. When planning your story, take some time to think about what to include and what to leave out of the frame. Is shooting with a wide aperture useful to show the setting? Or would it make more sense to shoot with a long focal length to get it close to your subject's face?

How to plan a story, think about "what" you include in your photos. While accessories can be very attractive, they can also be a distraction. Make sure that when you add something to the picture, they are true now and won't make you cringe in a few years. I'm a little bit old, but my thumb method with braces and what's in the picture is just to put what I want to remember.

valuables are an addition to this process. But for some reason I don't like it.
Of course, there is always the law. Sometimes, the film's quality makes the most of it. can relate to the mess of toys scattered and dirty hands and faces!
Take the time to find something that interests you in a moment, and capture that with your camera.
