How many fork Blurt account owners are there, who are currently on Steemit, and have no idea that they have a Blurt account? I was one, and I wish someone would have told me sooner.

For those that don’t know Blurt is a fork of Steemit. All accounts that existed on Steemit at the time Blurt came into being in July 2020 also exist here with a comparable amount of Blurt that the original account had in steem at the time created.

I found one for someone I know, and sent them a message on Steemit yesterday. Their untouched Blurt account is worth over $400. We will see if they are interested.

These Blurt Blogs accounts can be log-into with Steemit passwords.

If you are on Steemit also, let your friends and followers know they may have money just sitting waiting for them on Blurt. You never know many of them might just start blogging here.

Also don’t forget to tell them how awesome and friendly the Blurt community is.

I’m more interested in everyone that reads this re-posting it rather then upvoting it. This is a call to action!
I created a similar blog post on Steemit, so all you have to do is re-blog it to spread the word over there.

I don't remember how I found out about blurt. Probably @logiczombie via discord. But what a nice surprise to find I had value here, and I wish I had found out sooner. I've let a few people know.

I had no idea, now I understand why I could not buy my original name.

If you remember your steemit password try logging in to that account.

BLURT!T

Yeh I heard this too but I only ever had one 'password' on steemit, never even knew about keys or crypto on there. I was just using it to store my facebook notes LOL. I may go have a little look see now I've learned a bit (however I haven't learned enough clearly, just made a new account for someone and have lost all the keys again just like before). Muppet

If you want some hand-holding re new accounts, then get in touch on discord - assuming you're on there ;-)

Thanks for letting me know, but I tend to focus on one social media at a time and Blunt is currently the one I like best.

aaaaargh don't get me started on discord lol

STEEM is DEAD :D

Also Steemit pissed off so many writers and users so they never came back and so maybe never know that all happened...

Good work… yeah there is literally thousands of dollars probably millions going unclaimed … I guess nobody needs the money eh !

If you don’t mind, would you re-blog this post. I would rather have everyone that reads this re-post it then upvote it.

How about a steemit ehose user name has already been taken on blurt. That would mean totally different keys recreated by blurt now for that account. Can users like this still claim their blurt fork tokens?

I tried to create a new Blurt account using my Steemit account name, and it told me it was already taken. I thought it odd that someone else would use my unusual Pseudonym that I created for when I write my books. After I found out about the fork, I tried to login to this account with my posting key, and I’ve had no problems ever since.
I believe if it’s the same user name it has the same passwords.

So there was blurt in your wallet when you logged in?

Not much because I didn’t have much on steemit.

I don’t think so. If they were on Steemit in May 2020… they should be able to log into their Blurt blog created on July 04 2020

If they were only on Steemit after July 4/20 then they need to create a new Blurt blog with a different user name.
