Summer is great, because it means we get to spend more time outside! To be honest, I am happy to be away from phones and computers for a while, every day!

For some people, that might mean going to the beach, or going on holiday somewhere, or going camping — but around our place it means gardening!

We got started rather late this year due to a cold winter and very late spring.
Thus, things in the garden are still in the somewhat early stages.

Just sharing a few pictures, and maybe I can turn this into a bit of a gardening blog!
It'll be a little more exciting as the season really gets going.

Had a look at the BeBlurt web site, I must say a very much nicer interface than the blurt.blog interface, which just looks like a clone of early Steemit. I'll be using it to post from now on!
Do you grow this in your own home? How do you deal with insects that damage crops?
Yes @zulma, we grow all this in the garden behind our house. We control most of the insects by occasionally spraying with a mild solution of natural Neem Oil.
