We are happy to announce that @blurtfundme organization has successfully carried out its first project which is the "Pad A Girl Child Initiative".
The "Pad A Girl Child Initiative" has been a project we have been organizing for sometime now which is set to be more like an introduction to the aim of @blurtfundme organization.
The @blurtfundme which we ought to have already known to be an open-source fundraising system managed by a team of blurtains on the blurt blockchain.
This initiative which is unique to Blurt community is primarily aimed at promoting blurt by supporting charity projects, reaching out to the needy, and providing local support and assistance to those offline thus adding kindness to the world at large using blurt.
Just Iike I initially stated, we carried out our first project today and here are the interesting details below..

- Educating young orphanage girls on their periods.
- Distribution of sanitary pad
- Blurt promotion
Three cartons of sanitary pad were successfully shared to young girls at priesthood orphanage in Portharcourt, Nigeria by @blurtfundme organization.

Nice work! This is very interesting especially for western people. Did not even know this was an issue of concern over there.
It was and it is still an issue of concern.
Mostly those on the streets and junior secondary students faces this. Most of them even stays at home during school sessions just because they can’t afford pads.
We hope to give them the best of help while we tackle other stuffs attached to us.
