When we said we want to promote blurt and also use the same medium to help people, we meant it.
It took us one full month to plan and launch this project.
In an environment where young girls growing up have little to no access to sanitary pads affects them and their personal lives that is why I have tagged this project "PAD A GIRL Child".
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT ALL ABOUT
To help in solving the issue of limited access of sanitary pads and period poverty in around us.
Educating the girl child about menstrual hygiene and management. In other to help them understand what this is all about.
Providing free sanitary pads for this girls.
This project is scheduled for schools and orphanages for the main time.
THE GOAL
To train over 1500 young girls on menstrual hygiene, survival culture and blurt. starting with donating free pads to them.
To teach them how to provide pads for themselves using blurt as a source of pocket money.
OUR BUDGET
From the team discusion we have decided to visit DMMM COMPASSIONATE HOME which is an orphanage home located close to ahiaeke in Umuahia Abia state capital, Nigeria.

The current Price for a carton of pad is N5200 and we are looking at getting at least 3 cartosn to visit the ophanage.
We are not asking you too much but to support us with some blurts, we have so far gotten the amount for a carton which we the team have contributed to carry out this project.
A carton of pad is said to have 16 packs in it.
1 carton - ₦5200 = 16 pack
16 packs x 3 cartons = 48 packs
₦5200 x 3 cartons = ₦15600
Refreshment for 10 = ₦5000
Transportation = ₦10,000
A total of ₦30,600
This is equavelent to 2820 blurt using the Coingecko rate.
We are looking at getting a support of additional 2400 blurt as we have 600 blurts already at hand.

I love this initiate so much. I've seen so many girls finding it difficult to get a sanitary pad for themselves because of lack of finance. They end up using tissue paper which isn't hygienic at all.
All the best in the campaign.
Not just that but also seeing those in the orphanage without parental care do things their way is disheartening.
Many this children in Nigerian orphanages don’t go to schools talk more being taught menstrual hygiene.
We hope and pray to put a smile on their faces soon using blurt as our power source to further provide our quota to the society and to blurt.
