I try to curate about 4 - 5 times a week using this account, dishing out about 30 Blurts per coconut upvote.
Now, if you haven't been having the success here that you would want to have, pay good attention to my advice... It could help you make that change in your post rewards!
These are the few simple features that I am looking for in a post:
Some sort of personal text, not copied and pasted! Maybe something you have experienced or something about yourself. A poem or some lyrics are good to go too! PLEASE: No crap copied from the web!
At least 2 -3 photos, whereas at least ONE PHOTO should be a personal photo of yourself or out of your life. The rest can be memes, funny pics or something else. If you solemnly use stock photos, I guarantee you, nobody will be interested in your posts!
Interact with fellow Blurtarians! If someone comments under your post and maybe even upvotes it, then have the courtesy to at least answer the comment!! If you don't do that, don't expect the people to be returning to your new posts later!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: BE POSITIVE! I think there is enough BS in this world, without us also trolling around here on Blurt! That doesn't mean, that you should never post critical stuff! I also like reading critical stuff now and then, just don't let it get a hold of you... There are a handful of dumb DHs here on Blurt, who thrive off of creating drama and FUD, by trying to pull others down. Don't be like these DHs!
There really is so much crap being posted on Blurt htese days, I hope I can make a bit of a difference with my post!

Nice post. It is much appreciated. It's hard for people to get started on and understand blockchain based social media like this. Helpful hints through posts like this aver extremely helpful. I remember when I started on steemit it seemed the only way to get recognized was to promote a post using ones steem. If you didn't get much of a response it seemed to waste what little resources beginners have.
Ideas like this are what can help those willing to invest the time grow and learn as I have. Thank you for the post and most importantly the curation team.
