Teaching has always been a thing of passion for me, but what is more interesting about the place I work is, seeing the level of passion for teaching demonstrated by my colleagues and the Principal of my school Fr. Metuge Etame.
Talking about passion for Teaching, the staff of St. Peter’s comprehensive college Ngolo-Bolo located in the southwest region of Cameroon 🇨🇲 , are not just interested in teaching within the classrooms and sticking strictly to the curriculum from the education board... they engage the students moreso in extracurricular activities which can benefit the students with skills outside the classroom.
Extracurricular activities play a crucial role in schools as they offer students valuable opportunities to develop skills beyond academics. Engaging in extracurricular activities can help students enhance their social skills, time management abilities, leadership qualities, and teamwork capabilities. These activities also provide a platform for students to explore their interests, passions, and talents outside of the classroom. Additionally, participation in extracurricular activities can boost students' confidence, motivation, and overall well-being, leading to a more holistic educational experience.
The staff and management of St. Peter’s comprehensive college Ngolo-Bolo has shown remarkable resilience in this crisis times and has dedicated their time, efforts and resources towards improving the lives of their students and I am proud to be a part of it.
I believe strongly in my heart that these children will grow up to cherish the experience they have gained from the school.
More love and humanity and less hate and wars.
