As it turns out, yesterday was International Harry Potter Day.
And I blew that holiday, eh. But better late than never, right?)
For me, working on the Harry Potter puzzle series was special! First, a tremendous step out of my comfort zone... complex compositions with people, and second, so much of my personal life is tied to the story of The Boy Who Survived. I grew up with the characters in these books.
We lived very poor, just very poor. And my parents couldn't buy me such expensive books...
That's why I got Harry Potter books from my grandma - she especially went to the nearest bookstore, found out when the book was published and saved some money from her pension.
So Harry books are precious to me! Also, they were a real window through which to escape from the horrible reality into another world. Like many books at the time)
That's why it was a real honor to work on this series! I got a very nice customer who understood each other and gave me puzzles as a gift!)
