However , we can not leave the fact that not all habits are beneficial in the long run , while some bad habits can actually provide immediate rewards , it can actually be very detrimental to our body in the long run .
when we understand the role rewards play in habits formation , we can design better habits by making sure that the behaviours or habit that we are trying to forms offers a satisfying , valuable and meaningfull rewards.
The habits are very likely to stick when if offers and immediate rewarding . This is why the author suggest that we create small reward for good habits .
